Wed 05 Aug 09 Cuzco MORAY & MARAS:
Half day excursion to the Sacred Valley.
During this excursion you will visit the huge circular and semicircular
agricultural terraces near Moray, and then the colonial Maras town, and its
salt mines in old lagoons and terraces.

Full day Sacred Valley excursion. 31 km (19
miles) far from Cusco is Pisac, at the entrance of the Sacred Valley.
Visit the colorful market that on sundays, tuesdays and thursdays a craft fair
took place where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and sourvenirs. The lunch
will be served in a local restaurant.

The tour continues towards
Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that the Incas built as a fort and
includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. The town of
Ollantaytambo is called a Living-Inca-Town, since the inhabitants maintain
very old practices and customs. This excursion will finish around 3:00 in
the afternoon, after which you will be transfered to your hotel.

Sat 08 Aug 09 Cuzco Transfer to the train station.
Arrival by Vistadome class train to Machu
Picchu ruins. From Aguas Calientes station you will be transported by bus to
the top of the mountain and to citadel of Machu Picchu. This citadel is the
Cusco's most important tourist attraction and one of the new 7 Wonders of
the World. Discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, this city is considered to
be one of the most extraordinary examples of scenic architecture in the
world. The Incas were able to transport heavy stone blocks up the mountain
side, and once there, they used their excellent masonry skills to produce
amazingly polished stones that fit together perfectly.After a two hours
guided visit in the ruins, you will have lunch at a restaurant of the area.

Sun 09 Aug 09 Cuzco Transfer from Aguas Calientes town to Machu Picchu
fortress for enjoying this wonder of the world for second time.
You will also be able to climb the Huayna Picchu, the
mountain in front of the Machu Picchu and see the fortress from the top with
a spectacular view. The guide is not included in this second entrance.

At the appointed time, you will return to the station to take your train ride to Ollantaytambo station at the
Sacred Valley.Transfer from Ollanta Station in the Sacred Valley to Cusco Hotel.

Tue 11 Aug 09 Cuzco 13:30 CITY TOUR &
City tour for 3 hours through the beautiful
Cusco city and its nearby ruins. The tour will show you the amazing colonial
city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the
Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the incredible
masonry of the Incas, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral with its carved
woodworks, altars and paintings. Then you will be driven to the Inca
fortress of Sacsahuaman, as well as Tambomachay known as the Baths of the
Inca and to the underground cave and temple of Qenqo. You will also have a
panoramic visit of Puca Pucara Ruins.

Wed 12 Aug 09 Cuzco CHINCHERO:
Half day visit to Chinchero, located 35 km.
(22 miles) northwest of Cuzco, the town of Chinchero lies on the foundations
of an important Inca site built in late 1400s. Brightly dressed, the people
of Chinchero gather in the main plaza to barter foodstuffs and offer
visitors an array of crafts from the Cuzco region against a scenery of
breathtaking beauty.

Thu 13 Aug 09 Cuzco PIQUILLACTA &
The visit starts in the Pikillacta complex
which considered one of the most important pre Inca sites in Cusco. It is
composed by more than 700 structures: 200 kanchas (departments), 504 qolqas
(storages) and different buildings that should have sheltered a population
of about ten thousand people. The tour continues towards Andahuaylillas, a
very cozy small town with a beatiful colonial church built at the beginning
of XVII century, the interior of the temple is decorated with murals
performed by Luis Riaño representing the path to glory and the path to hell.
Besides, this church holds a majestic piano, numerous canvases of the
Academy of Cusco, silver work and baroque altars.

Half day visit to Tipón, 27km south east far
from Cusco, at 3560 m.a.s.l. (11680 feet). According to legends, Tipon is
one of the royal gardens that Wiracocha ordered to be built. It is made up
of twelve terraces flanked by perfectly polished stonewalls and enormous
agricultural terraces, canals, and decorative waterfalls that, along with
the native flowers of the area, offers the visitor a stunning vision. The
site is composed of different sectors: Tipon itself, Intiwatana, Pukutuyuj
and Pucará, Cruz Moqo, the cemetery of Pitopujio, Hatun Wayq´o, among

through the most traditional residential areas of Lima, including San
Isidro, Miraflores and LarcoMar, a shopping center of international thematic
attractions which offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean.
