Peru is a country of great beauty and fascinating history. We went with high hopes and were not disappointed. Everyday brought a new experience in a beautiful setting. Contrasts in Peru are everywhere. Outside the gates of our ultramodern first hotel and spa there were farmers plowing a field with oxen and a wooden plow. There were people in modern dress and women dressed in tradional clothing unchanged for hundreds of years. |
